Apple tops Q4 2026 estimates with record $114.5 billion revenue in John Ternus' first report as CEO
Apple posted record fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $114.5 billion and earnings per share of $2.10, topping Wall Street expectations in John Ternus' first earnings report as chief executive.

Apple reported fiscal fourth-quarter 2026 revenue of $114.48 billion to $114.50 billion, up 12% year over year and beating consensus estimates of roughly $113.39 billion to $113.47 billion. Diluted earnings per share reached $2.10, surpassing projections of $1.98 to $2.00. The quarter marked the company's first earnings report under new CEO John Ternus, who took the helm in September.[2][6][7][9][14]
Revenue growth was driven by the iPhone, which rose 17% year over year to a September quarter record of $57.58 billion, and Mac sales, which jumped 24% to $10.79 billion. Services revenue grew 10% to an all-time high of $31.57 billion. Conversely, iPad sales dropped 10% to $6.23 billion, while Wearables, Home, and Accessories fell 8% to $8.30 billion. Greater China revenue rose 21% to $17.54 billion, though it missed consensus forecasts of around $18.55 billion to $18.9 billion.[2][9][10][18]
Gross margin came in at 47.9%, aided by tariff refunds that added 1 percentage point to margins and contributed $0.05 to EPS. Apple CFO Kevan Parekh reported $28 billion in quarterly operating cash flow, fully returned to shareholders alongside an approved cash dividend of $0.27 per share. Apple's full fiscal year 2026 revenue totaled a record $478.8 billion to $479 billion.[5][8][9]
Despite the record quarterly figures, Apple's shares slipped in after-hours trading as the company warned of rising memory chip costs. Ternus stated that memory expenses are expected to increase into December and beyond, pressuring holiday gross margins. Apple's inventory climbed to $14.54 billion in the fourth quarter, up 31.1% sequentially and 154.3% from a year earlier as the company locked in component supplies.[3][11][16][17][19]
